Stratis Philippis is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of The Bountiful Company, a role he has held since May 2016. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all legal, compliance, and risk management matters across the Company, as well as leading its information technology department.
Stratis is a forward-thinking and results-driven executive with extensive experience leading teams and providing tactical and strategic support across a wide range of business and compliance matters. Stratis joined The Bountiful Company in 2012, and has led many of the Company’s strategic initiatives since that time.
Prior to joining The Bountiful Company, Stratis was an attorney at the law firm of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP where he represented corporate clients across various industries, including several consumer products companies. Prior to joining Debevoise, Stratis was an attorney at Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP where he primarily represented financial institutions on capital markets and structured finance related transactions.
Stratis is on the Board of Directors for the Long Island Business Association, a non-profit and non-partisan organization that seeks to make Long Island a better place and business-friendly region. He is also Vice Chair of the organization’s LI-Bio committee, a platform to help expand Long Island’s burgeoning sector of companies focused on biotechnology, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmeceutical and life sciences.
Stratis received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fordham University, Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, and Master of Business Administration from The Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University.
